They nail me every year. Cute little girl asked me to buy some Girl Scout Cookies… she is adorable… huge grin that wrinkles her nose. I said “I only have a 20 dollar bill.”
“That will get you six boxes!” She grinned… little con-artist. I took six.

There was a new article about a fox of unusual size that was trapped and killed. The fox is suspected of eating a pet cat, so the man of the house got a trap and took care of the predator problem.
Something bad is happening… you have to go. Now. You grab one weapon… only one. What do you grab? I have a modest collection of arms, but I couldn’t grab all of them. I’d have to pick one. I suspect most of my readers are in the same boat. I’ll give you guys about 1 second to guess what my choice would be.
We have friends in Japan. So when we first heard of the massive quakes there, we’ve been glued to the news and have followed every story, and watched every video. Contact has been made with everyone and all of our friends are alright. Thank God. We continue to pray for the people of Japan.
I’ve been asked by a few readers, how they can help. The answer there is the same as in all the other disasters… The Red Cross.
After Katrina there was some stink about the Red Cross in their use of Katrina funds. You know what? I don’t care. My Grandparents where Red Cross Volunteers for years and years and they went all over helping people in dire needs… that’s what the Red Cross does and outside of Governments, they are the biggest dog in the fight. They are a great organization. If you want to do something to help Japan, contact the Red Cross.
Japan has been an important ally to the US and our Economies are tied together like we were a married couple. Even tighter than our ties with the UK. We need to help Japan to stand back up… get them on their feet again. Japan is a part of us… and they need us… Please, donate everything you can. Do what you can.
Back in 2006 at the SHOT Show, I saw Beretta’s new 90-Two pistol. Forgive me for saying this, but I think the name is stone cold retarded. This is a different handgun than the 92, yet they are pronounced the same. Thank you Mr. Too Clever For Your Own Good… This is about as good of a name as the FN Five-seveN pistol, but at least the FN isn’t being confused with any other handgun. Brilliant move, Beretta.
Shooting those .44 Mags again today… really put the Wheel Gun itch back into me. Sure, revolvers have a limited supply of ammo on board. Sure, for most people, revolvers are slower to reload.
However, Revolvers have some other qualities that are big bonuses… They are not Ammo Sensitive like an Auto. An Auto has to fire ammo that is within a certain power range or they wont cycle. Revolvers don’t. You can shoot super light target loads, you can shoot super hot magnum hunting loads… all through the same cylinder without changing anything.
When friends come out from Hill AFB and say they want to do some shooting – we go shooting. So Mike and Tony came out yesterday, and Tony picked up a nice Savage 10 FCP topped it with a 6.5-20×44 Vortex Viper. Mike brought out the finished Crusader Broadsword. Both guns needed to be zeroed, so today, we went to the range, including WTA’s Khorne.
Huey, over at Huey’s Gunsight has put up a cool contest. Send him a picture of your EBR, and the winner gets a ST-1 Treatment by Crusader Weaponry. How cool is that? That’s awesome Huey!
She plays Warhammer 40K… makes it a tough call…
But yeah, she’d have to go.
Hat tip to Q, from WTA.
