SILVERSHOT is officially DONE and off to the Editor, after all this time. It’s taken a good while and required a trip back to Utah to visit the Uintah County History Center. And I hope the results are found to be worth it.
Silvershot is a story based on the folklore in the Uintah Basin area of Utah, specifically about the legend of the Skinwalker. The Ute Tribe, when they are willing to talk about it, tell of an evil Shaman who can shape-shift that was sent to conduct magical warfare against the Utes. The story I tell is based on that, wrapped in other local legends.
What’s next? I have a number of irons in the fire, and I’ve decided that PRIVATEER needs to be finished next. After all, it’s over 1/2 way done already. And work on that has already resumed.

Silvershot is at the Editor’s and is in line to get worked on. I feel sorry for the Editor because it’s written in 1st person perspective and everything is “spoken” like a Western movie. Grammar Nazis are going to stroke out from it.
Working on Azure Sun – a story about the boat crew you get a glimpse of in The Shadow Over Miskatonic’s Prologue.
Privateer is also in the works. And then Vibrant Darkness. My working tempo on these is much faster these days. It won’t take a decade like Silvershot did.
