We’ve been entertained for the last while with the goings on in Wisconsin. The Mobs ransacking the capitol there… the protests… the threats of violence… and worse is the flotsam and jetsam that floats to the top. This time it’s Jesse Jackson and Mike Moore. These people are talking about Democracy… but they are showing us what they are really about. To them, Democracy is a code word for straight up Communism.
Just look at the similarities between the what they are doing in Wisconsin, and what the people were doing at the early stages of the Communist Revolution is Russia.
At best, Democracy is the Rule of the Mob. The Majority running roughshod over the Minority. In this case, it’s the Minority threatening and intimidating the Majority Leadership. It’s ugly and it’s wrong, and it’s not the American Way… because America is not a Democracy. We need to stop teaching that to School Kids. Public Education has programed kids to think we are what we are not. We are a Constitutional Republic. There is a huge difference… and that difference is what’s clashing in Wisconsin.
Our good friends Mike Kupari and Larry Correia has written a book entitled “Dead Six“. This is Larry’s bazzilionth book and Mike’s first. The concept was all Mike’s however, and it’s solid. So solid in fact, that you don’t so much read it… as it smashes you over the head with awesomeness. I just placed my order. Order your copy now!
I remain impressed with the overall quality of the gun. It’s so far proven to be a great buy. At the time of purchase, and even since I had first seen them, I had only one complaint. The wood grips look like they are cheap plastic. Now I have another complaint.
1. The US need to be an Oil Exporter, not an Importer. That means we drill the Gulf of Mexico, Alaska, Utah, and everywhere we have oil and natural gas.
2. The US needs to stop using Food to turn into gasoline. Corn is a poor energy source as it takes more energy than we gain from it. It also drives up food prices across the board.
The violence in Libya is horrid and unfortunate… and it saddens anyone with even a small strain of humanity that a government would attack its own people. Because of this, there has been talk of a US intervention. This is a bad idea.
The top story across several news media outlets – all that I looked at – is Charlie Sheen’s mental breakdown. The man is a train wreck, but so what? The economy, oil prices, the horror in Libya and Egypt and all the problems in the world… Yet all they can focus on is Charlie Sheen.
You know how a lot of people believe in an Open Government? No closed doors?
Well, HB477 is closing all the doors and windows. I frown upon this. I could use a harsher vocabulary, but I am striving to tone down the language… I’ve already edited this post 9 times. Contact your State Representatives and Senators. Today.
Cold Steel has a catalog called “Special Projects”, so we can’t use that name. Never mind that most of those Special Projects products have been there for years and what’s so special about them is questionable… I need a name for Crusader’s Limited Production Side Projects… LPSP… no, that doesn’t work. Anyways, the Sterling 9mm Carbine project nailed the goal exactly as I had hoped. I wanted to do a special side project, and sell 8 to 12 Sterlings. Well, we have 12 sold, including mine. We are waiting on checks to come in and we’re getting parts ordered and the project is now officially rolling. Thank you to everyone who is getting in on this.
Much talk came about on WeTheArmed.com about future Exclusive Offers. Some of the ideas floating out there… An Uzi, M3 Grease Gun, more Sterlings, a Tactical Lever Action, and of course a 1911. Before you guys all clamor over the M3… I looked around for parts sources for that, and I’m not happy with what I’m seeing. Or not seeing for that matter. So an M3 is going to be difficult. Same thing with the Beretta Model 12 SMG. I can’t find any of the parts kits that you used to be able to find everywhere. So what other ideas do you have for a future Crusader Exclusive Offer? (Hey… CEO… I like that…)
It’s the hip thing for all the super serious “Real Shooters” out there to dis on Top Shot. You can look in pretty much any Gun Forum and find the same general vibe. They hate Top Shot because of the Drama, yet they admit that the shooting stages look like a lot of fun.
