What really bugs me about the Gun Industry is how they change one or two small details and act as if it’s something completely new.

Take a look at SIG Sauer.  They have the TACOPS 1911, which is a great gun.  They Cerakote it tan, change the grips, and all the sudden it’s a “Scorpion” and thus a completely different gun.  Some rifle makers will change the stock, and now it’s a completely different model.  For the most part, the gun is only cosmetically different.  Yet the gun companies wave flags of originality and claim innovation.  Look, if you are using off the shelf parts that have been on the market for over a year, you should not be allowed to use the word “Innovation” or anything in a thesaurus that is similar.   Worse yet, the Gun Writers out there who have to review these things.  Never mind that its the same damn gun with different cosmetics… these guys have to write another 2,000 words with photos on how this is something new and fresh.  And they publish those articles and people buy those magazines and it’s all just rehashed shit from 20 years ago.  I’m not naming names but I swear to the All Holy that I read the same rifle article 20 years as I just read in a new magazine 20 minutes ago, with the only difference being the freaking handguards.  Its the same thing.

I was going to say Clark Kent and Superman, but I hate Superman… he’s a Douche.  But look at Bruce Wayne.  League of Shadows Ninja, and then changes costume to become Batman.  Really only cosmetically different.   Bruce Wayne could still kick your ass without the Dark Knight costume.  He doesn’t need the costume to perform.  And just because he is in the costume, doesn’t mean he’s suddenly a better fighter.  He’s no tougher, no stronger, or any smarter while in the bat-suit.
Who else does this a lot?  Kimber.  Freaking hell, they only make like 3 different 1911’s but given them different skin treatments and all the sudden you have guns from 699 all the way to 1400 without any special Custom Shop work… just cosmetics.
Poor Gun Review Writer.   This is one of the reasons I stopped writing gun reviews.  I got really jaded and sick of rewording the same review for the same gun that’s just had a small detail difference.
Kimber Custom II.  Kimber Target II.  Same flippin gun, just a different rear sight.  But according to Kimber, it’s a whole new model.
Now, I’m not busting Kimber’s nuts on this, or SIG’s… because so many other gun makers do it too… they all do it.  Accept for Taurus, who has so much CQ issues, everything they make is totally different.

Imagine if you will, if the Auto Industry worked in the same fashion?  This car is the same as that one, but this one has XM built in, so it’s a totally different car!  We call this one the Stallion, and this one the Tornado Hunter!  See, it has a pin stripe too.  (Well, they kind of do… looking at the Subaru and Toyota sports car, but that’s another subject)

No, people would not tolerate this in the auto industry.  Yet it’s SOP in the Gun Industry.  I like what the Car guys do those… They have Trim Levels.  Same car, with a series of steps in upgraded add on features that go from basic to fully loaded.
The Gun Industry should look at that model for awhile and think about it really hard.  Because right now it’s just ridiculous.

Now, I understand that a gun company needs to make new stuff to sell more stuff.  But I think these guys are going about it all wrong.  Let’s look at to examples.
Glock.  They make the same damn gun in 3 sizes in common calibers and that’s it.  That’s what they do… because they’re Glock.  The do what they do and they do it very well.  You don’t hear about quality control issues with Glock. You don’t hear about anything other than “It’s a Glock”. And they sell and sell and sell to the point that Glock’s Marketing effort is about like the Maytag Repairman’s schedule.  Because you know what you are getting with a Glock… Your getting a Glock.  Now look at SIG.  The P250 the P2022, the 229, 228 M11 226 MK25 and they are all different and you really don’t know what you are getting anymore with SIG or anything from SIG wearing that badge… I’m saying this because I love SIG and really I’m feeling like they have let me down.  Lost their way.  Looking more at Cosmetic Themes than keeping a tight ship… because I’ve seen some SIG’s with some serious issues that should not have been there.
Some guys have said they wished Glock was more colorful or fabulous like SIG is.  When really I’d like to see SIG act more like Glock.  The worst thing Glock stamps their name on is those disposable pens they give away.  SIG’s?  That could take all day talking about.  You don’t know what you are getting with SIG anymore and that’s a shame.

Sopranos Health Care

tony-sopranoIt started out as Free Health Care.  That whipped the unwashed, low information masses into a frenzy.  Got a lot of people in on this idea. Garnered a lot of support.  Then they changed it bit by bit.  “You can keep your old plan.”  And “You can keep your same Doctor.”  While never telling anyone that in fact, no, it’s not free.

Then it turned into something else… Like something out of the Sopranos.  It’s more like, “So, you’re gunna buy this health care policy.  You have until the end of the year.  Or else.”

Unless your part of The Family.  Then you get exemptions. It’s universal for everyone else.

This is like a Mafia style Protection Racket.  It’s not lowering the cost of anything.  In fact, for most everyone, it’s more expensive.  A lot more expensive.

I fully expect to hear Joe Biden come out and say “That’s a nice Health Care Plan you have there… I’d hate to see anything happen to it.”

They keep using that word.  I do not think it means what they think it means.

The Government is Shut Down.  The biggest problem that I have with this is that they will eventually Re-Open.  And that’s regrettable, however inevitable.  Many things have shut down.  Parks and Panda-Cams.  Monuments and Mountains.  Everything that they deem as Non-Essential.  Essential things are of course still working.  Soldier’s are still getting paid, and other things too important to stop.  That’s fine.  But this gives us an opportunity.  We now have a Water Line for Government Services.

I submit that everything that is Shut Down should be examined.  Is it really something that serves a valuable and necessary function or service?  If not, and no one is really missing it, then why have it at all?  And is this something that should be apart of the Federal Government?
Or should it be rolled back to a State Government?
Or should it be Privatized?

The Panda-Cam at the National Zoo.  Privatize that Zoo.  Privatize the Department of Education?  No… That should be on the shoulders of the States.  Grand Canyon?  State.  Dinosaur National Monument?  States? Colorado and Utah working together?  That’s not going to happen… they can’t even join Highway 40 together right – PRIVATIZE that shit.
I’m of the opinion that anything the Government can’t do better – should be done Privately.  I’m also of the opinion that everything that is Not Essential – Should be Privatized.   If it couldn’t be sustain through a Private firm’s management, then contract Halliburton or something to operate it.   Freaking Girls Scouts can run a business better than The Feds.
Just look at the SNAFU that is Obamacare on the first day of operation.  The Feds should stay out of it.  We’ll all be riding horses if they get their tentacles into Auto Insurance as they have Health Insurance.  (No need to mention how they have fucked up Flood Insurance too)

lindsay_lohan_parent_trapI don’t know why this popped up on my Feed from YouTube… maybe because social media friends I don’t actually know liked these videos and that’s why it became a suggested video or whatever.  But a video of Miley Montana or whoever she is… “Twerking”.  Evidently she has a couple of these videos.
This was the Disney Child Star of the Country Star with the heart condition.  I think her dad’s song was about just this thing.
Good hell I am so glad I don’t have enough Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice in my system to have gene-seeded a Girl Baby.
Because she would end up at some point probably watching something from Disney.   Other than your average American High School, Disney seems to be in the Lead for inventing Whore Idols.

Lindsey Lohan – Epic Train Wreck.   At least Miley Cyrus cirus citrus circus surplus (sp?) has someone to look up to.  Is that a career path?  Go from Adorable Girl to something attractive (Lohan was hot as an older teen – yeah admit it – you thought so too) and then straight to graduating with a Master’s Degree in Crack Whore thanks to a full ride (too soon?) scholarship from Disney.  lohan26n-1-web

Let’s look at the path.  Disney teaches through these young children that Parents are stupid and clueless clowns and kids always have it figured out and are right in the end.   They give these kids Money and Fame.  And instill in them a sense of entitlement and that they can do whatever they want and their Fans will support and adore them.   And then at some point they end up dancing on a stripper pole.

If I had a daughter I’d have nothing Disney is my house.  Is this how our Culture wants us to raise our daughters?  I have friends and family with daughters and just don’t know how they can do this… The cultural influences to utterly destroy girls is in full force.  Sexualize them, objectify them, and let them self abuse themselves into state sponsored baby factories.  Democratic Voter Vending Machines.

Thank you Disney for turning out people girls can look up to as role models for success and standing up for the Good and Right things in life.  I don’t know… Maybe this is a Preacher’s Daughter sort of situation.   But when my Boys are looking at Girls, who are they seeing these days?  Tramp Steamers on a collision course with a train or are they seeing young women with strength and dignity and value as human beings and daughters of God who should be treated with respect and put on a pedestal?   How can I raise my boys right, when the cultural influence is to ask a girl if she spits or swallows?  We can’t turn to Social Media – good hell…  We can’t turn to the mass media and entertainment.   So where can my boys find lessons outside of Dad’s Lecturing?  Reading Books.   Good Books.   Literature.  Classic Literature.

But those books are no longer found or encouraged in Schools.  Thanks to “Common Core” Education.

When children are raised in such a culture, what is the future going to look like?

 

Edit Update:
This was posted before MTV’s VMA Show. Before Cyrus’s “Performance”. All I can say about that is that I found it to be utterly revolting. Twerking as it’s called is not dancing. Its vulgar. I’m no prude, but its disgusting. Cyrus has proven she has no talent, so pulling this sort of stunt was all she had. Because thats what it was. A stunt.
She needs to get over the novelty that she has girl parts. Flat and sad girl parts.

If we elect Barack Obama as President the entire world will love us.  That was basically the promise the DNC made America.  Everyone in every nation around the world will love us.
Obama cottels, aides and abets Extreme Muslim groups around the world.  Financing them and even giving them weapons.  Because he’s Obama and they will love America then.

Now we are closing Embassies around the world.

Tucking our tails GLOBALLY.   Obama is showing us his ass.  Not just showing us his ass… But right there at eye level like a cat walking away… With a Press Conference.  “LOOK AT MY ASS!”

People… His plan isn’t working.  None of his plans have worked.  The Democrats plans never work.  Look at Chicago.  Democrats Gun Free Utopia.  Murder Zone USA.  Look at Detroit.  Bailout City!  These plans don’t work.  Liberal Ideology Doesn’t Work.

With all the scandals that the White House has going on right now, it seems the Benghazi issue is being minimalized.  Even Fox News people are pretty much saying that it’s not that important and are more worried about the IRS SNAFU.

While a Tax Audit is a problem, 4 Americans did not get killed in one botched Audit.

And the excuses do not hold water.

A.  “What does it matter?”
B.  “It happened a long time ago.”

Both responses show a lack of care and concern and are pretty much admitting guilt.  The response about budget is bogus and we all know it.  Every US Marine knows it.  The CIA knows it.  Having US Marines sweep in and protect and extract an Ambassador is something the Marines just do.  You don’t even have to call them… they’ll just go.  What you do have to do though is to call them and tell them to stand down.  The choice was made that these men were to die.  What I want to hear is why they chose to let the Ambassador, and those with him, die in Benghazi.

I want FOX and the rest of the Media to HAMMER the Administration on this.

But what does it matter?  It was a long time ago.

Who Done It.

The last several incidents, before there has even been an accurate body count, or wounded people getting to the Hospital… The Major Media has instantly jumped to announce that the Bad Guy was a Right Wing Extremist.  And a lot of other people I know said the same thing in this Boston Bombing…
This tells me that these guys, and The Media, do not know who Right Wing Extremists are.  During these times, the Right Wingers tend to be stuck at work, so look at the time… if it’s in business hours… it’s probably not anyone that’s Right Wing.   Let’s look at who does what for a moment… From the historic perspective of the incidents in recent years.

If it’s a Random Bombing or a a Bombing at a public event… It’s probably Muslim Extremists.

If it’s a Random Shooting in a Gun Free Zone… It’s probably a Liberal Democrat.

If it’s blowing up a Government Building… THEN it’s probably a Right Wing Extremist.

We did have one Right Wing Extremist that did something horrible.  But look at his target.  A Federal Building.  He was attacking the Government.  And that was only 1 incident, and that was back in 1995. The movie WATER WORLD came out in 1995, come on.  Of course the Media types like to bring up our one and only jackass out all the time.  They also like to bring up the Crusades as evidence that Christians are horribly violent people… but that was in the middle ages when everyone was horribly violent.  We’ve moved on.  These days when Right Wingers attack, it’s with Facebook images and Quotes.  It’s with Lobbyists and Grassroots political action to get people to contact their Representatives in Washington DC or at their State Level.

So really quick:

If it was a bomb – it was the Muslim Extremists.
If it was a Shooting – it was a Liberal Democrat.

Quick Update:  If it was something nasty sent through the mail, like some Toxin… it was also a Liberal Democrat.

Okay, let’s look at these two groups.  Muslim Extremists and Liberal Democrats.  What do these groups have in common?
1.  They both have Self Control issues.
2.  They both insist that if they don’t like what you are doing, they have the right or obligation to do something about it to stop you.

What does a Right Wing Extremist have to do with these guys?  Not a damn thing.  They have other traits.
1.  Right Wingers just want to be Free and left alone.
2.  If a Right Winger doesn’t like what your doing… We don’t do it with you.

Yet the Major Media outlets all seem to want to make Right Wingers the bad guys.  We are somehow a threat to them.  Well, this is no mystery… because the Major Media are all Liberal Democrats and they have an agenda.
