With the CDC warning of Zombies, and the Zombie Survival Discussion Panel that’s going to happen Friday Night at ConDuit with Larry Correia, Mike Kupari, and my brother Zack… I thought I’d preemptively put out my opinion on the subject. Luckily, I found that my good friend Terry has made my argument for me in language so clear and concise as to command acquiescence and affirmation.

Someone looks silly…
The Bible says that no one knows when it’s going to happen. This Rapture Preacher is just bugnuts to have the audacity to say that he knows. Well, the day came and went and nothing happened. If God was talking to him, and telling him when it was going to happen, I kinda think it would have happened.
Now he’s saying “Oh, it’s in October“. Yeah, that’s not how God works. We’re talking about the God that hit the Egyptians with plagues, knocked off the first borns, parted the Red Sea… brought down pillars of fire and handed Moses the Commandments. That’s how God works. He tells his Prophet he’s going to do something, it happens. This Peacher is no Moses. You know what the Bible was right about? That there would be many False Prophets.

The Crusader Templar Rifle
Gundoc has done a little video showing our Templar Rifle. The Crusader Templar is easily the best 556 AR type weapon on the planet. Everything in it is the best. The Slipstream Treatment applied to it further improves function. Accuracy is far beyond any expectation for a fighting gun.

There are so many misconceptions about “The Fifty” that it’s almost as if it’s some mythological beast… One day, it’s going to be like talking about Dragons or something.
The .50 doesn’t put out head ripping shockwaves. It’s only 2700 to 2800 FPS in most loadings. Which puts it at the same speed as say a .308 or a good old .30-06. In fact, the cartridge is really nothing more than a big .30-06. What gives the .50 the range and power, is that the projective is just so big and heavy. Bullets weight in from 650 to over 750 grains… which is impressive. The .50 BMG’s slug alone is larger than some rifle cartridges. Firing a .50 BMG rifle is a lot of fun. It’s impressive. The blast is huge. The power that it puts out is staggering. But the bullet zipping past something in a near miss isn’t going to do anything to it other than making it soil its self.
Range finding
The other problem that I’m having is finding a Range for Crusader Training. I had picked out a couple good alternative locations for the Tactical Carbine course. But we’ve run into a snag. Let me explain.
Dissapointed in the Atom
I’ve decided that I totally hate Netbooks. This unit is as decked out as you can get it. Big optional hard drive for storage. Lots of RAMs running around. In fact with RAM and HD space, it’s actually just as good as my late Laptop… but that’s where the good points end. The wireless antenna sucks and gives crap for signal strength, even when within feet of a wireless access point. But that’s fine, I can live with that. But what really sucks the most is the little anemic processor.

Confession: Hoodies
I love them. They are my favorite thing to wear… Hooded sweatshirts with a front pocket… Hoodies… Over a t-shirt that’s tucked into a pair of jeans, fresh socks, and a comfortable pair of sneakers. This is my favorite sort of outfit. Super comfortable is a bonus, but the best thing about this style is that there is no limitation on what one can pack concealed. No requirement that your defensive tool has to be as small as a Matchbox and chambered in something the size of a grape seed. You can pack a full sized defensive handgun that is massively effective in skilled hands.

The ATF gets to define my Sport?
Since when does the BATFE have the right to define what my Sport is?
Since when does the 2nd Amendment have a “Sporting” requirement?
The BATFE is overstepping their bounds. They are an old, outdated agency and society and the shooting industry has outgrown the need for them… Well, maybe the “E” part. I can can see the continued regulation of explosives… so disolve everyone out of the agency that doesn’t deal with explosives and rename their new smaller Charter. The B.E is fine… We can call them the Bang Boys.
