DC’s solution to Crime. Just be a Victim.
You shouldn’t have guns in DC, because opposing Crime just “escalates the situation”.
This sort of Liberal Soft Brained thinking is why our country is so messed up today. This “Be A Victim” response is asinine and anti-american. This is even more disgusting than that slut Rush insulted.
BYU conducted a recent and poorly conducted study of firearms used in bear attacks. Just having a gun isn’t enough. A. You have to have a gun and ammunition capable of stopping a bear. B. You have to know how to use it. That requires training.
The news report in the Trib makes mention that people don’t practice in a realistic manner… That part is very true. Just punching paper isn’t training.
The key in a sudden bear attack scenario is an accurate first round hit made fast. Very fast. You have one shot and no time to take it. Thus is the 21 foot rule to the extreme.
Practice with your bear gun from slung on the shoulder, snapping the gun off and breaking that shot accurately. The time to strive for is about 1.5 seconds.

I can’t sell a .22 pistol to someone from across a line on a map, even if they live in the same valley… State line… But I can sell them all the AR-15, .300 Ultra Mags, or tactical shotguns that they could ever want.
The laws don’t make any sense… But we have to follow them. Laws written by the most ignorant if people about things they know nothing about… But they are still laws. The Shoulder Thing That Goes Up.

Congratulations to Maryland. A Federal Judge has deemed their unfair and restrictive permitting system to be unconstitutional. We’very yet to see what actual changes this will bring to that state… But its positive… A step in the right direction.
Congratulations to my Brother for finally getting his permit paperwork done… He too will soon have his permit.

How about living in a free country where we don’t need a permit to exercise a constitutional right? It’s a right, not a privilege… We don’t have Church Permits… Speech Permits… A pass from Quartering troops. But the one right that specifically says Shall Not Be Infringed, so boldly… is chained around the neck with Permits.
We don’t require permits to buy beer… Permits to engage in vice… To have babies… But to carry with you the means if self defense we’ve allowed our states to infringe upon us.
I call upon every State Representative in Utah, and every other State, to drop all permits and recognize the Second Amendment at face value… Adopt Constitution Carry and recognize that right for citizens of other States.
GM has killed production of the Chevy Volt. The car that is completely useless, slow, underpowered, handles like an iceberg, and has the range of a Punt.
And GM blames the Media. Uh huh.
Here’s the thing… It’s actually not a bad looking little car. Much better looking that a Prius. I bet the Volt would actually sell and do fairly well if they made a version of the Volt that was powered by a simple little eco-friendly 4 cylinder gas or diesel engine.
We talk about packing guns for many reasons… one of them is protection. But have you really thought about it, taking in the ramifications? You use a weapon to save your life… there was a man with a large knife, coming at you. You moved behind the hood of a car and use your handgun to drop that threat. You are alive and the goblin is on the ground dead and twitching. You did it… it happened. Now you hear the sirens coming. Here comes the police. What happens next?
Depending on what you say and do and where you are at… you could have saved your life only to end up living in a prison cell for the rest of your life.

That’s some prestigious company I am in… Especially since I have trained with them all. Quite a furry and ferocious council.
I wanted a gun with more power and longer reach. So I ordered a Glock 20SF today. That’s a 10mm, Sports Fans.
Should be here Friday or Monday. Some have said all pistols suck. 10mm… sucks a lot less.
The Glock 20SF was my pick because I just don’t dig the Gen 4’s and the SF is a lot like the Gen 4 with no backstrap attached. The only one I could find with any of the distributors were only coming with the 10 round mags, so I ordered some 15 rounders.
I’ll need a holster for it. I need to pick out some good sights. And I need to get it to Joe at Crusader HQ for the Full Tilt Crusader Conversion.
