Trident Arms purchased a Slipstream kit from us and tried it out.

As expected, Slipstream performed as advertised.  Better in fact, as he threw Slipstream in a filthy class III weapon. Suppressors always make for dirty weapons. He ran the gun till it was jamming, threw in some Slipstream, and the gun was up and running again.  That’s what Slipstream does – it works – because we were not satisfied with any other lubricant on the market, so we made the best there is and no one else in the industry has anything like it.

Slipstream is the best lubricant there is for your firearms.  Need more convincing?

“I love the stuff…I have the belt feds lubed with it, my M9 and M4 all lubed with it as well. I am grateful for it. (of our belt fed’s)I have only run the 249 on slip and it is so freakin smooth. The nice thing is also that it stays in place unlike the other lubes out there…and it won’t evaporate. I love this stuff.

Crusader Guardian bid for a P.D.

I’m working on a bid for 24 Crusader Guardian rifles for a Police Department back east. Looking at some other custom rifles from other makers… straight up, this PD is going to be getting twice the gun for the same price as the other guys. The only thing the other guys have going for them – big names. The Guardian rifle is one of my favorite builds, as it’s in between the entry level Partisan, and the fully decked out Templar. It’s that sweet spot of price verses performance. Or Bang for the Buck as they say.   If you want an awesome AR Type weapon that has fantastic accuracy and “To hell and back again” reliability, check out the details on the Guardian on Crusader Weaponry.  If I may suggest, upgrade the Vortex flash hider with a BattleComp… that puts the Guardian over the top.  In my opinion, it’s the best AR rifle on the market under 2 grand.

I’ve been asked if I was going to get back into competition shooting. I tell you what, I would really love to. I get invitations to matches all the time… and it pains me that I can’t go do them. What’s holding me back? Straight up – I can’t afford the ammo. If I had an Ammo Sponsor, I’d be all over it.

You know, Taurus is one Gun Maker that has more than it’s share of detractors.  But I have to give them some props.  Their 1911 really is a solid and well built gun for the money.  Bang for the buck value is through the roof.   I took a couple that we have at the gun counter, hit them with some Slipstream… and I kid you not, the bloody things are the smoothest 1911s in the case now.  (In fact, I’ve never felt such a drastic effect from Slipstream, as I did with the Taurus 1911s!)   These are very good 1911’s, not just “for the money”, but very good 1911s – period.

The only real problem it has, is that they are not selling.

Remington 700 Sendero .25-06

You guys know I’ve been itching for a .25-06.  Well we got in an older style Sendero on trade.  If I was in a better situation financially, I’d snag this thing.  As it is, it’s tempting for me to put it on layaway.    The older style has the narrower, slimmer stock.  The new ones have that huge retarded palm swell that I don’t really care for.  This one is just how I like them.  If I got it, I’d want to put a Rapid Z 800 on it.

Sometimes I really hate working in a gun store.   Being an addict makes the job hard.

Strange Day

So today I get a phone call from the Libertarian Party.  Evidently my membership in the party has been absolved.  What’s strange about that is that someone from the Libertarian Party HQ had to personally call me to inform me of this.   It’s kind of funny, because I thought it was kind of a given when I didn’t send them another check to renew my membership card.   Well, I’m just completely heart broken.

To make me feel better, I did get a personal invitation by the Governor of Utah for dinner.  Awe… that’s so nice of him.  Too bad I’m two seconds away from giving the State of Utah the middle finger.  I’m not actively looking to relocated, but let me tell you… I get a decent job offer in another state – I could be very tempted to take it.    Utah State has pissed me off.   Retarded laws and policy and procedures.  My tolerance is very low for Utah’s bullshit.  If you guys know of a good job, suitable for an Ogre, give me the heads up.

Obama is, at this very moment, at NASA checking out the Space Shuttle launch that was postponed for 3 days… When what he should be doing, is spending time in Alabama, TX and the other states effected by Al Gore’s Weather.  That’s great, Obama.  Show us all what is really important.  Kudos!   You jackwagon.
