Since I’m foot bound for a while I’ve been ordering stuff online, when it is too heavy for me to schlep. I’m only about a half mile from a major shopping center and I’ve got a sub-frame outdoors back back. I’ve noticed that Amazon seems to enforce pretty stringent packing standards on the stuff they Fed Ex. I realize that there are economies of scale in comparison to consumer goods vs. firearms, but considering the hazard of pissing off the costumer and the guys that are selling your product, it would seem to be a no brainer to through in another couple of bucks of packing material? Even nasty old Rock Island had a plastic case inside cardboard.
