Monday’s Motorcycle: Victory Vegas 8-Ball

America’s Other V-Twin Motorcycles… VICTORY.  All Victory bikes are clean, slick and smooth with lots of power on tap.  High build quality without the Harley Baggage.  I really like the Victory line… and my favorite, is the Vegas, Baby!  The 8 Ball is the one I love the most because it captures what the Vegas is all about… low slung, bad and all black.
If I was going to go back to riding a Cruiser… and one day I will… as a secondary bike… I would be looking for one of these Vegas 8 Ball machines.  I just love the look of this bike.  The lines.  The balance.  It’s a work of art.  I could just look at this bike all day.  In fact, this one photo alone I posted just encompasses everything that “Victory Motorcycles” is all about.  It’s not just all about looks though, Victory built these machines to be ridden.   Fantastic engines.  Great power delivery that never gets boring.

Unfortunately Victory doesn’t do a Sport Bike.  I’d love to see a Sport Bike with a Victory Twin shoe-horned in there.  Make that a Naked Sport, because it would be a shame to hide that gorgeous engine.

  1. Out of all the bikes I’ve ridden, my Kingpin 8ball is my favorite. A heck of a lot lighter than the VTX1300r I traded in and a LOT more power. Great powertrain warranty and SO MUCH FUN TO RIDE!

What’s not to like? Well, except for the Sport crowd 😉

  2. Ogre-San: I have to agree. My personal favorite is the Hammer 8-ball, because that is the one in the garage.. And yes, the bike has proven itself in all weathers between maritime canada and the Hudson valley, and is bulletproof. Now if Polaris could just get their head out of their ass….

  3. Love them! I’m working on getting a Cross Country this year. All I have to do is jump on a Harley to remind myself why I love Victory Motorcycles!
