My Japanese isn’t that good, but that gate is called a torii. We have a park here in Dallas with one of those, but I doubt it is put together as well as the torii in Japan.

I do not mean to be a downer, but the earthquake and tsunami in Japan happened nearly a thousand miles from Nagasaki…
