Those new Magpul 870 stocks. I know I said I wasn’t digging them… But now I’m actually considering getting another 870, just for those stocks.
What’s wrong with me?

I don’t know. I was just planning to buy the extra furniture.
They look…interesting. I’d like to handle a shotgun with one on it before committing to anything. They look like they could either make a shotty feel like a natural extension of your body or a steaming pile of dog crap strapped to your shoulder. I just don’t know which one. Their 870 handguard looks alright.
I was unimpressed by the photos online, but after handling them at SHOT I can tell you that they are fantastic. Much less bulky than they appear in the promo photos and handle very well. With the stock at it’s shortest length it becomes a very handy little defense gun. A little longer and with the cheek riser and an aimpoint micro is even better.
