Another reason to move to AZ

The Gov of AZ is considering “Don’t Tread On Me” plates.

How cool is that?  That’s the spirit I wish Utah had.  For all the good things about Utah, it’s pretty authoritarian, to the point that every time I but heads with it – it just makes me want to pull up stakes and leave.  But I can’t… because in this market, there’s no way in hell we’d be able to buy another house.

  1. Sorry, Ogre, but Brewer is not currently very 2A friendly so you’d be better off staying there. She didn’t sign campus carry and asked:

      1. Perhaps all is not as dark as it first appears.

I was just talking with a friend about this very issue. Arizona’s Campus Carry that is. Supposedly the Governor’s veto of this bill wasn’t due to her feelings against it so much as the bill wasn’t written well. I haven’t had time to really check it out just yet so perhaps I am wrong.

  2. Muhr, that is too cool. One more reason to move to Texas – can’t imagine other states letting you do something like that.

  3. Personally, I prefer the giant “Live Free Or Die” signs at every border crossing into NH (plus on the plates, of course). Every few years, some tourism group tries to get us to take down the signs. “That’s not very welcoming!”

Actually, it is. Just welcomes the right sort of visitors.

    1. Yeah, been watching that one. Finally done deal. Now the other half dozen or so states waiting to copy Utah will go forward.

      Well done.

  4. The problem with Arizona is that it is too close to California and Mexico. Water is going to be a problem if the state grows much more especially with an influx parasites fleeing the mess the made of California.
