Feel free to suggest other pistols that are not mentioned and where they should be. The roster for most boxes are easy to fill. But the Metal-Striker box is the hard one. There are just not that many out there. If I was going to design a new pistol, I’d do a Metal Striker pistol. Because there just isn’t that much competition out there for it. One thing is for sure though… I’d make sure I’d stay away from Kahr’s trigger mechanism, because those motherfuckers sue everyone that makes anything even remotely similar.
FN FNS is a polymer-striker
Tokarev is a metal-hammer
And then there’s my metal(ish)-striker Lorcin! On second thought, better leave that one out.
Oh and I think STI makes some polymer framed 1911s and Para makes some metal-striker 1911s.
Kel-tec P3AT,Ruger LCP: polymer/hammer
Browning HiPower: metal/hammer
Taurus 24/7: polymer/striker
Makarov: metal/hammer
Ruger SR series: polymer/striker
Little old and not really a striker fire but I am a big fan of the Colt 1908 Pocket Hammerless. Wish someone would make a clone in 9mm. I have a 95yr old .380 and it is just a great little pistol. Nice wieght, comfortable, easy to carry. Thought maybe the Kimber Solo would be a close copy, similar in looks anyway (although thicker) but I haven’t had a chance to handle one and I have read a few bad reviews on it.
This chart makes me think someone should come up with a metal striker fired revolver……sweet. S&W, are ya listening?
S&W 940 was striker-fired. I doubt it was the only one; just happens to be the one I’ve owned, so I know for a fact that at least that one existed.
Was it any good?

Not only stay away from kahr because their sue happy but also because their triggers suck more than a philipino whore on nickel night. No offense to philipino whores.
