That is one of the reason back in ye ancient days I wanted to go to a California based track driving school and then be able to hit the local tracks for “track days” without totally embarrassing myself. You could tell this guy knew his track, his apex spots, and etc. In that kind of riding you have to have your head way ahead of your bike. Watch his hand work and listen for those double shifts. Always accelerating out of the curves unless they were right on top of each other.
