Are those G3’s they’re carrying? I understand it’s Norway, but you’d think they’d pick a more advanced rifle, with all of the options out there. I’m just saying….
Those are definitely G3s and the Norwegian military has used them as the standard service rifle for quite a while now. HK416s became their new standard a few years ago.
Having used G3 in my service for a long time, i must say that I rather like it!
As Josh said, we are going over to HK 416 now. When Norway went from having Garand, US Carbine, mauser m-98 in the late 1960`s to HK-G3 or AG-3 as it called here, we made over 300 000 of them. Now, when we are getting hk-416, the inital order is for 8000. Our military is in my opinion going downhill. THe quality of the few people serving is much higher now, but for a small country as Norway, to get the numbers necesary we have to have a compulsory service for every able man. Not so now.
Oh man, that is funny. I went to FBI SWAT school. The instructors were some old time, tough guy agents. We were training in the old MOUT site at Ft. Ord. The lead agent was talking about flashbangs and how they can take off across a room so toss and duck behind cover. He then proceeded to toss a bang into an empty concrete room while standing in the open door with a smirk on his face while we all held our ears and cringed. BANG! and suddenly he’s lying on his face and bleeding from a gash on the back of his head. I wish we’d been filming it. Remember, never taunt Murphy.
Did they jest Flashbangs them selves??
Whoever tossed that one will be having that story told about him for the rest of his life. Funny as hell though.
Flashbang $50 private training facility 1Mill falling to get the Flashbang through the door priceless.
I had one bounce back at us off a storm proof window. I learned to ALWAYS break the window first and then throw the flash bang. True story.
Good thing it was a flashbang, and not a frag grenade.
Roll, or drop. There is no “throw”.

They might be FALs.

Murphy taunting is bad ju-ju. Don’t stand near anyone doing that.
What kind of pistols do they use–can anybody tell?
I believe they are using Glocks or CZ-75 derivatives.
Glocks.
