I’m looking for a good knifemaker. This Maker will pretty much handle all of Crusader Weaponry‘s blade orders after payments are processed. The knives will be of a specific pattern, large, a high carbon stainless steel, simply media blasted and then Duracoated. Handles are simple scales on a full tang. There will be two patterns for the customer to pick from. These knives will be offered with rifles as a package, and sold individually.
This is an opportunity for a skilled knifemaker to make a name for himself, grow his business, and get some promotion.

I have to admit that I like Terry’s style better. The old guy just ends with pointing the gun in the target’s face at an inch away. Why end there? Knock the target down and finish it off Gangster Style! Because no court would convict you on this… it was totally self defense and not an opportunity to just straight up kill someone… no…

Ogres don’t do Celebrity Status. I’m getting guys coming into my work asking to see “The Ogre”. Kind of a weird celebrity thing going on here.
Now, forgive me guys… but this weird celebrity thing is new to me. I’m not used to it and it kinda freaks me out a little.
The legendary M1917 Browning machine gun was responsible for plenty of soldier’s deaths from World War I through the beginning of the Vietnam. The M1917 was a heavy belt-fed water-cooled machine gun that was commonly mounted on Jeeps. Extremely impressive for its time, the M1917, which was used primarily in WWI, had a firing rate of 450 rounds per minute while its later incarnation the M1917A1, which was used during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, had a firing rate of up to 600 rounds per minute.
One of the things I did at the range today was to put my slug gunning to the test.
The 300 yard target is a plate the shape of a Ram.
300 yard target plate. I missed once or twice, finding my hold. Then hit it at will. Then I turned my attention to the 400 yard target. I pictured the ballistic arch in my mind, held the sight accordingly, and made the hit.
I have no video of this, but I have an Air Force EOD Tech as a witness. My friend Nightcrawler was there and saw it. So he can testify that I’m not making such crazy bold statements off the cuff.
I don’t like cell phones, but I like technology and gadgets. For the last 5 years or so, I have been without a cell phone. I remember clearly my last one. When my contract ended, I called the service provider (alltel) and told them that due to the crappy coverage, bad signal, dropped calls, and general nightmare of dealing with their customer service… that I was canceling my service and will not renew my contract. During this call, the signal was crappy and the voice was cutting in and out… So I threw the phone. It skipped across the water about 12 times, which is the best that phone ever performed.
Nightcrawler is an unrepentant Wheelgunner. He’s also an advocate of the .44 Magnum. NC sent one gun off to S&W’s Performance Center for special tuning. The other one, with the short barrel is a gun that S&W gave him as a replacement for a previous .44 Mag that he sent in for repair… which turned out to be unrepairable. So they gave him some options and he picked this one. It’s a great little gun. Looks sexy. But is exceptionally unpleasant when firing. The wood grips are just gorgeous, but do not belong on a .44 Magnum firing full power loads.

The rifle feels and handles even better than it looks. It’s accuracy was impressive even without zeroing the ACOG.
Overall I am extremely pleased with our Broadsword rifle. It’s not finished, but the potential is there and it’s impressive.
My wife has scolded me because my faded jeans are out dated. “You’re stuck in the 80’s.” She said.
“What are you talking about?”
“Those faded jeans are so 80’s. You need new jeans. Yours are out of style.”
“Fine, I’ll get some new jeans.” After all, last thing an Ogre wants to be is out of style. Actually I just want the whole conversation to go away now. Consent by exasperation.
I buy a pair of new, darker jeans…. and she’s happy about that. She says that they look much better and life goes on. That was a month ago, or so.
