According to several SciFi shows I have seen… the future is filled with Glocks. You can tell they are Future Glocks, because the slides are all Brushed Stainless or Chrome. Just ask Justin Timberlake.  Btw, I found his movie IN TIME to be entertaining.  I liked it, actually.
